If your NDIS plan is on PACE, the NDIA’s new computer system, then there is a new way of choosing a plan manager you need to know about. You must now endorse your chosen plan manager, which means you need to let the NDIA know you are choosing to manage your plan. Rest assured, it’s a quick and easy process and we’ve put together a few guidelines on how to endorse Acacia Plan Management to manage your funds.
Important tips before you start
Whichever endorsement option you choose, follow these steps to make sure:
- To endorse Acacia Plan Management as your plan manager (not plan provider).
- To use the start date of your current plan as the start date of your endorsement, so we can continue to process any invoices from your plan.
- To have the person on the phone confirm that the endorsement is complete which should be instant.
How to endorse a plan manager when you have an NDIS plan on PACE
There are two ways you can endorse Acacia Plan Management:
Via the NDIA
Contact the NDIA National Call Centre on 1800 800 110 and advise that you would like to endorse us as your plan manager.
Via your Local Area Coordinator or Planner
Contact your Local Area Coordinator or Planner to advise that you would like to endorse Acacia Plan Management as your plan manager.
Once the endorsement is confirmed, we are all set up.
What if I’m already with Acacia Plan Management and I’m starting a new plan? Do I still I need to endorse?
Your NDIS contact will call you before your plan’s end date to discuss your situation but yes, you will need to advise that you would like to endorse us as your plan manager.
Important information for support coordinators
Endorsement can only be done by the participant, their nominee or guardian. As a support coordinator, you cannot endorse providers on your participant’s behalf.
